Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year at VK Greer School!
Dear Viper Families,
We are thrilled to welcome your children back for another exciting and enriching school year! Our staff are eager to reconnect with familiar faces and to welcome many new students and families into our vibrant community. We also have several new members joining our staff this year, and we look forward to introducing them to you at the upcoming Meet the Teacher BBQ on September 10th.
My name is Tracy Lupton, and I am honoured to serve as the acting principal of VK Greer for this school year. It is my privilege to partner with our dedicated educators and families to ensure that VK Greer remains a safe, welcoming, and inspiring centre of learning in Port Sydney.
To help us maintain a smooth and focused learning environment, we kindly ask parents to please refrain from walking the halls during the school day. Instead, we ask that you report to the main office, where your child will be called to meet you.
Please remember that school starts promptly at 8:50 AM and ends at 3:10 PM. We appreciate your efforts to align pick-up and drop-off times accordingly, as this helps reduce distractions and interruptions to learning. If you need to pick up your child early, please ensure all calls are made before 2:30 PM to allow us to arrange supervision and minimize disruption.
For safety reasons, please note that there is no supervision before 8:25 AM and after 3:10 PM. We ask that students are not dropped off earlier or picked up later than these times.
We will continue to use School Cash Online as our exclusive method for collecting all school-related payments to ensure convenience and security for our families.
Additionally, Wednesday continues to be a pizza day VK Greer, and the first pizza day will begin on September 18th.
Finally, we warmly invite all parents to join our School Council, which is open to everyone in the community. Our first meeting will be held on September 24th, and we encourage you to get involved and help shape the school year ahead.
