Orange Shirt Day:  Every Child Matters is an event that recognizes the survivors of residential schools – and acknowledges those who did not.

Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come.  Trillium Lakelands District School Board is committed to advancing the spirit of reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples.

Everyone in TLDSB is asked to get involved in honouring all those who attended residential schools by digging through their closets to find and wear an orange shirt this Friday, September 29th!
